Since I introduced you all to FutureNatural a few days ago as a great place for more natural and organic personal products, I thought I would also include this video I found. It quickly introduces you to what the company is all about and what you can expect from FutureNatural. The video is only about 3 minutes long but it quickly allows one to get to know the company a little better. It features Emma Pezzack, who is the founder of FutureNatural.

So have you ever thought about that question? Anyone I have ever seen eat fast food, would probably never make it, to actually do such an experiment. If you have ever seen people eating fast food, they gobble it down in very few mouthfuls.
But what if you did buy a fast food meal and just let it sit there, for an hour, a day, a year… Have you ever thought what would happen to it? Would it do the same as what you expect most food to do in a composter? Well some people did actually decide to put that to the test.
Thanks to a comment from Elaine, who is a colon and holistic nutrition therapist, I got introduced to a video about what a 4 year old McDonald’s hamburger and fries look like. You can watch the 5 minute video here. See the video and read the follow up analysis of what I have to say about this very interesting experiment.

I have just come across a fantastic video for Evolving Wellness, by reading a blog I enjoy called, Fertilehealthy. It is one of those videos that is worth spreading to as many people as possible, as it cleverly illustrates with humour a sad reality which many of us live in when it comes to our health and our unwillingness to open up our mind for a change and see what really is going on. Check out the video and then read on for some more information with regards to treatment versus prevention when it comes to your health.

Today brings us to the last part of our 5 part series on “how to live a long and healthy life.” For the past four days we have been learning about the populations who live the healthiest and longest and the reasons for their success. Yesterday we learned that the most important link to health and longevity is having good coping mechanisms for stress and we also found out that the residents of Glasgow, UK have the shortest lifespan in the world and the genetic reasons for that.
Today we conclude the documentary entitled “How to Live to 101″, by revisiting the residents from Okinawa, Japan and seeing if their health and longevity still prevails when they emigrate to new countries or in their children’s generations. Watch the last part now, and follow up with the summary of this session after your viewing.

Welcome to day 4 of our 5 part series on “how to live a long and healthy life.” Yesterday we learned how the residents of Loma Linda, California achieve great health and longevity by following a vegetarian diet, not drinking, not smoking and having a spiritual dimension to their life. We also found out that the link that ties all longest living communities on Earth is a good coping mechanism when it comes to stress.
Today we find out more about the stress resistant personality and meet inhabitants from a city that is experiencing the other end of the spectrum and that is the shortest lifespan on Earth. What city is that? Well I won’t ruin it for you, watch part 4 now of “How to Live to 101″, to see who is barely making it to 60 and then read on if you would like for further comments from me.
