Greetings to all of our regular readers and welcome to you if this is your first visit to Evolving Wellness!
In this post I wanted to share with you all, the latest venture that has “evolved” and joined Evolving Beings and Evolving Wellness, and that is the launch of a new site called Evolving Scenes.
Evolving Scenes is where, through another one of my hobbies - photography, I want to share with you the inspiration and beauty of our evolving world. It is a place where you can visit and bring yourself back to stillness and capture the essence of life. It is a place where you can take a short time out from the everyday hectic routines that life can take us into.
You will find there various photographs I have taken, most of which are inspired by nature and short inspirational reflections. There will be one photograph and reflection for each week day.
If you need a daily reminder of how amazing life is, or to reflect upon something a little deeper, to take a break or simply to look at something that may inspire you, stop by Evolving Scenes. I will try to always provide something there to soothe your soul and remind you of the magnificence of you, your life and this world.
The site is also intended to inspire your personal expression of gratitude and appreciation for nature and the world we live in. There are many beautiful and precious things in it; all we have to do is look around.

One of the most important aspects of optimal health is a balanced state of being between the body, mind and spirit. Generally speaking, when the body is healthy and the mind is at peace, the spirit is vibrant and full of life. So how does one achieve this?
Well, even though there is no one, right answer for everyone, there are several well-known techniques to achieve this harmonious balance.
Hence aside from healthy eating and healthy thinking, many people partake in various relaxation techniques such as meditating, walking, yoga or Pilates. These prevalent activities are usually very effective at promoting optimal health by connecting the body, mind and spirit and are often greatly enhanced by music.
Thus, it is with great joy that I introduce to you a rising new artist, Cedar Jones who is the composer of the group called Hush.
Hush has recently composed a relaxation album called Quiet Music for a Loud World. The album combines ambient soundscapes with gentle, soaring melodies.
Okay so here is some food for thought. How conscious would you say you are when picking what you eat each day? How about what products you buy or what products you use?
A new study published on May 13, 2008 from the University of New Hampshire found that commercials influence what you do in life. And of course you may be thinking “I already knew that”, but think about it again. How many of us know that and still fall under the spell of commercials, never mind those who do not realize just how powerful commercials are when it comes to influencing the decisions we make.
Now it may not be a big deal if we are talking about what sport you are going to play or what clothes you are going to wear, but it quickly becomes a huge deal when we are talking about what food you are going to eat and what personal and cleaning products you are going to use. You may beunconsciously guided to picking many of the everyday foods you eat and products you use due to what the commercials say and how they portray them. But do you know just how powerful the ways of the media actually are?
