Month in Review: April ‘08

calendar april2008Wow – it is hard to believe that this, only our second month has passed on Evolving Wellness, as things have been busy in a very exciting way!

We continue to hear from many new readers on a weekly basis and hope to inspire and meet many new ones yet to come!

At the start of the month, Evolving Wellness was recognized by David from davidnotes.com who is the author of a lovely blog called Virginia Breeze. I am touched to say that David awarded me (Evolving Wellness), “Best Comment in a Long Time Award”.  Check out the following link to see David’s beautiful post about Evolving Wellness and to get to know more about this award and how you can get it :)

In the middle of the month, we hosted a 5 part longevity series on “How to Live a Long and Healthy Life” based on the Horizon BBC documentary “How to live to 101″.

We finished the month off by celebrating Earth Day and adding the ever so valuable Skin Deep: Cosmetic Safety Database to our very useful for your health, resource page.

This month, many new recipes and reviews joined our site. And the most popular articles, were actually two that debated the health safety of the new product called Clorox Green Works.

Scheduled for May, I would like to do a “Be Sun Smart Series” and continue with Part 2 of learning how to read personal product labels, to choose the safest products possible, for your health!

And as always if there is a health topic you are interested in, let me know and I will be glad to research and/or write about it!
