October is over and with it we bid farewell to Vegetarian Awareness Month. Of course here on Evolving Wellness, you can always expect some vegetarian news and recipes year round!
At this time, I would also like to offer a big thank you to Gena from Choosing Raw for sharing her story with us of “Evolving Wellness in Action” and being October’s feature on our site.
At the beginning of the month, we talked about the swine flu vaccine risks and how you may want to reconsider the vaccine, as the risk may be greater than actually getting the swine flu.
In the middle of the month, we had a feature on 5 ways to quickly boost your immune system.
The end of the month saw our 3rd installment of “Health and Nutrition Myths“, with a look at how the body deals with old cells.
2 product reviews joined our site this month. One, featuring the beautiful music of Marcome and the second, Manitoba Harvest Hemp Protein Powder.
We also had 2 new recipes added: the Nutty Green Tofu Salad and Mung Bean Sprout Herb Salad.
As for what’s in store next month?
The Canadian Health Food Association (CHFA) will be celebrating and promoting November as National Health Food Month again.
And of course November is World Vegan Month, starting with November 1st being World Vegan Day!
We will have a fantastic and highly inspirational story coming again, to be featured for November’s Evolving Wellness in Action. Don’t forget, if you have gone through or made some awesome changes in your health and diet, tell me about them here, for a chance to submit your story and have it featured on the site.
I will also be focusing this month a lot on reviews for personal products from Green Beaver. With the holidays coming up, I want to give you some ideas of some good natural products, if you might be considering something like that as a gift for someone.
