July has passed and with it came some time out, for me to take a 2 week vacation, which was very restful and rejuvenating.
As always I thank all of our loyal and new readers for their comments and contributions, as well as to many of you who are leaving such wonderful feedback and suggestions for EvolvingWellness.com using the Kampyle feedback form at the bottom right hand corner of the page!
We started the month off with a very timely and I think critical article for our times today, entitled “15 Reasons to Go Vegetarian For You, the Animals and the Planet.”
We also examined how high sodium and protein diets are leading to bone loss.
In the middle of the month, I wrote the article entitled “Health, Healing and Positive Thinking: Exposing The Connection”, where we examined the role our thoughts play in our health and wellness.
I also wrote my personal Semi-Annual Health Update, where I shared with you how my personal journey of achieving and maintaining optimal health is evolving and where I am at this point. I encourage all of you to do personal goal setting, as well as checking in with yourself every few months to see how your eating, sleeping and exercising is going. In a busy world like we have today, it is too easy to lose track of all of this and end up years later in a very unhealthy state.
This month, I shared with you a review on a very fantastic book to read if you are at all interested in how the toxic chemistry of our everyday products could be influencing your health called “Slow Death By Rubber Duck” and I also was ecstatic to find and share with you the new shampoo that Mike Adams from NaturalNews.com formulated called “Valley of Longevity“.
Three recipes also joined our site this month: Vegan Cheesy Whole Rye Pasta, Raw White Beech (Bunapi) Mushroom Salad and Sweet Vegetable Brown Rice Dish.
Our featured “Evolving Wellness in Action” inspirational story for the month of July was Monica Shaw from SmarterFitter Blog. I thank Monica once again for sharing her story and being a beacon of light for many to help them embrace the journey towards physical fitness.
Having taken that wonderful vacation, I am all rested and geared up to share lots of important and helpful topics with you in August. As some of you who are regular readers will recall, June was my last month of formal work and from now on I am dedicated solely to writing, consulting and speaking about holistic health and wellness.
Wishing you all a continued happy, healthy and fun summer!
