Monica
Your advice is so well organized and so relevant to just about any personal challenge. I am a firm believer in journals and taking it slow particularly in the fitness department. Thanks for sharing your story.

Monica, you're an inspiration! You show us all it's okay to question; somehow, I think I'm supposed to know all the answers right off the bat, even though I truly do know otherwise. It's just I never see others doing the questioning I muddle through... You also demonstrate how each improvement is reason for celebration, which provides perpetual motivation, each step and motivation becoming easier and bigger. You make it seem easy to completely turn your life around! :) Thank you for sharing your story.

@Hanlie - thanks for the kind words and I hope you enjoy the blog. =)

@Evita - Thank you again for featuring me on your blog. I'm humbled by your intro. I think the most important thing in life - whether it's diet, fitness, food, or anything - is to keep learning. The more you learn, the better you'll be - can't really go wrong with that!

@ HANLIE - Thanks! I was glad to introduce Monica, as her story is so applicable to so many people out there, and as well I hope for us all to support each other as we venture and make healthier choices in our lives and move along our evolving health journeys.

Monica, thank you once again for featuring your story with us here! The best part was when you said, there is no set goal to look forward to - it is ongoing. I feel like that so much too. There is never a day when I go through and say, that this is it, my health lifestyle is perfect. We grow, we learn, we grow some more and make changes as we do all this. So it is such valuable info for others out there.

And reading your story I kept remembering my own love for cheese, and while there are some days I want to ask myself "what the heck was I thinking?" - the truth is I know what I was thinking, I was simply listening to the mainstream advice of how good dairy is for us.

Well, as you, I and many other participants have said here, it is all about continuing to learn and put that knowledge into practice for a healthier today and tomorrow!
