In the past decade, pomegranate juice has been widely promoted as one of the healthiest juices of choice when it came to super high levels of antioxidants. But are all pomegranate juices created equal? The answer is a simple no. That is why in this review, I want to share with you the latest product from Arthur’s Fresh Company and that is their 100% pure pomegranate super juice to let you know how it rates with respect to true quality and health benefits.
Arthur’s Fresh Company has been farming and making juices naturally, since 1893! The company started as a small family run business out of Goderich, Ontario. The company prides itself on processing only the freshest, highest quality ingredients, with their ultra gentle processing system that maximizes both the nutrients and fresh tastes in their products. The company has an excellent reputation where true “health food” and consistent high-quality is concerned, but for now their products are only available in Canada.
The Arthur’s super juice line has just been introduced a couple of months ago and comes in two flavors, that is two different antioxidant rich juices – blueberry and pomegranate.
First of all, whether you have tried this, are going to try this or are consuming some other type of pomegranate or blueberry juice you should definitely check out the thorough analysis that Mike Adams from Natural News did on the “Pomegranate and Blueberry Juice Consumer Shopping Guide.” It is an excellent comprehensive summary of what to look for when buying these high antioxidant juices, as not all juices are created equal, but they all charge a premium. Thanks to this analysis you will know when paying the extra dollars actually equates to real health benefits, instead of tricky advertising full of empty promises.
In terms of the Arthur’s pomegranate super juice, it stacks up great as it is really 100% pure pomegranate juice and not from concentrate – this is the first thing to watch for. There are no other juice fillers, no sweeteners, no preservatives or any other junk. The juice actually tastes like real pomegranates, slightly sweet and sour with a little bitter aftertaste. This will not suit some people’s taste buds, especially those whose diet is based on sugar. The juice is flash pasteurized to preserve the freshness. Arthur’s super juice actually rates just as good if not better than the very popular POM juice line. Unlike the POM juice, this juice does not have a transparent consistency, as more of the whole fruit is used.
The juice claims to be a source of naturally occurring antioxidants, which protect at the cellular level damage done by free radicals and can be used for the maintenance of good health. It does recommend the consumer to drink 250ml daily or as prescribed by a health care practitioner, but one must understand that statements like that are written more for legalities where “health foods” are concerned than anything else.
In conclusion, Arthur’s juice is fresh, 100% pomegranate juice, tastes great and has abundant health benefits. The only thing better than this I would have to say is a fresh pomegranate itself, which should always be your first choice. However, if you are stuck somewhere or on the go, know that you do have truly healthy choices like this one.

Hi Evita
thanks for your recap on my Superjuice. The Wild Blueberry actually has 50% more antioxidants than the Pomegranates, and the blueberries are 100% Canadian. Interesting stat … the more troubled and stressful the growing season on the fruits, the more antioxidant superpowers the fruit contains. Sort of funny, the more stressed the fruits are, the more stress they remedy for us. ;-)>
Nutritionals are now available on all bottles as we realized that was a disservice to our consumers (and an oversight). Thanks for pointing out the issue as we try and meet the needs of our loyal chuggers.
Wild Blueberry – Per 250ml dose – 120 calories, 0mg fat, 30g Carbohydrates, 1g fibre. 52,000 ORAC (antioxidant measure).
Pomegranate – Per 250ml dose – 180 calories, 0mg fat, 45g Carbohydrates, 1g fibre. 35,000 ORAC (antioxidant measure).
Thanks much for giving people proper information to evaluate the multitude of options in the market. Arthur’s Fresh stands for REAL FRUIT, NOTHING ELSE. No water/concentrates, no overprocessing, nothing artificial or unauthentic.
cheers
Travis
@ TRAVIS – Thank you so much for including this update about your juices!!! It is a wonderful idea to provide the facts as it helps many people make more informed decisions, so that is wonderful to hear that it is now available!
I am a huge fan of your company, one because it is local Canadian and two because you are one of those few companies that actually seems to mean what they say and stand for. Thank you for that and keep up the great job!
