I appreciate any blog that focus healthy living habits. I truly agree nutrition is the key to good health, every time we choose good food, we are indeed choosing life.

Hanlie
I am so inspired, impressed with your interview and happy for you and the effort you make to get and stay healthy. One key point I felt you made was important to address - you said "The last two months I’ve concentrated so much on getting an exercise program started, that I haven’t been as consistent as I would like to be with my eating habits."

The nice thing is - you know it and you know what you need to do. Also, I strongly suggest making small changes so that you don't become overwhelmed, therefore, it is no such a bad thing to focus only on one thing at a time to make the changes stick. Now you know how good it feels to exercise and can move on to changing your eating habits, again, a little at a time.

You are doing great! I'm so glad I came back to read your interview!!

Hanlie -- so great to see your inspiration story here (and thanks for introducing me to this site!). I love your "fail forward" mentality -- exactly right!!! I'm honored to be able to follow your journey! :-)

Isn't it amazing how long we can ignore the signs and signals that our bodies are giving us? Some of us have to be hit over the head with a brick before we make the necessary changes. What's the old adage? Nothing changes if nothing changes. [Ahem, guess I know a little bit about that.] :D

Make a distinction between your goals and the benefits of reaching your goals. That's brilliant advice! Thank you.

It has been both a joy and verrrrry inspirational to follow your journey toward health and healing on your blog, Hanlie. Believe me, there are days when I just feel like chucking the whole thing and saying, "Screw it!" But then, I think of Hanlie on the other side of the globe and I say okay, "Get your butt moving, girl. Hanlie's out walking her 5K."

I do pray that all of that working out (*wink*) in the bedroom reaps fertile rewards for you and Craig.

Evita, darlin', congratulations on your 1 year anniversary. Such a valuable contribution you make to the blogosphere. Thank you for all the insightful articles and yummy recipes.

Hi Dea and Living a Whole Life!

Thank you for stopping by and sharing your thoughts. Hanlie's story is awesome. What I loved about it the most - is as I mentioned, it is so REAL. A lot of people can relate and that is what makes it so powerful. It has been a great process so far and indeed there is even more to come, as there always should be - our wellness IS always evolving, as we grow and change throughout our lives.

Hi Hanlie!

Oh the pleasure was all mine. You have been a great wealth of knowledge, sharing resources and your passion for a healthier way that is just wonderfully contagious always! And you serve as a HUGE inspiration.

Hanlie thank you so much for the kind words. You know too how I share your passion for these areas and if I can help others in the areas of health and wellness to improve their life, even if in some little way, that is a gift in itself.

I feel that when we learn together and inspire each other, we grow together on this Earth. And that is why I have decided to bring together others' stories that are not just case open and closed, black and white - but truly evolving as we grow and change.

Thank you again Hanlie for your sharing your story and your always valuable and supportive feedback!
