February is over and as we say good-bye to it, we are also starting to say good-bye to winter in the Northern hemisphere!
With the new days of spring upon us in March, new growth will be taking place all over nature! This can also be a great time for many of us to grow in new ways where our diet, exercise and health habits are concerned!
We started the month off with the introduction of the latest and perhaps one of the best health documentaries to come out up to this point entitled Processed People. It cleverly brings to us the latest, most compelling research, facts and stats on the health status that is sweeping across North America and how to avoid falling into the traps that will take down our health.
In the middle of the month, we dissected artificial sweeteners through “A Quick Guide To Artificial Sweeteners and Sugar Substitutes.”
We finished the month off with a look at some of the foods that we once considered a very important part of our life, and today no longer incorporate as part of a healthy lifestyle, as we evolve in our health journey, with “5 Foods You Thought You Could Not Live Without.”
Throughout this month I wanted to focus on introducing to you a few products that are considered “natural” and review how they fare in that respect, including: Seventh Generation Laundry Detergent, Arthur’s Fruit Smoothies, Giovanni Shampoo and Larabar Jocolat Bars.
A few new recipes have also joined our site this month, like the raw, fresh and delicious, Mega Life Alfalfa Sprout Salad.
As March approaches, Evolving Wellness is excited to celebrate its first year anniversary! It has been an exciting journey to share with you my passion and knowledge this past year and I look forward to many more exciting years, as we grow and evolve together!
To celebrate our first year anniversary, Evolving Wellness is going to have a special make over in terms of a new look and site organization, in order to bring you health and wellness information in a more efficient and concise way.
The first week of March, we will also have a special series on sleep as March 1 – 8 is National Sleep Awareness Week, and more and more people today, are severely lacking in this most important activity for our bodies.
So here is to another happy and healthy year!

@ HANLIE – Yes, in some ways I am so excited that a whole year has already gone by for Evolving Wellness, and in many ways, one can get caught in the saying “I can’t believe it is already one year”.
Thank you so much always for your comments and feedback :)
