Month in Review: November ‘08

calendar november 2008As the month of November comes to an end, we also bid farewell to National Health Food Month.

However, as you know here on Evolving Wellness, our passion and focus is optimal and healthy living and healthy food is the primary ingredient in that, hence there will always be reviews and articles that deal with truly healthy foods to help us achieve that.

We started the month off with a guest article from Dr. Scott Olson, a naturopathic doctor who wrote an article for Evolving Wellness entitled “Cravings: When Sugar Calls Do You Come Running?

In the middle of the month, we examined that “Health Food is NOT Necessarily Healthy Food” and introduced the alternative and holistic healing modality through “The Art and Science of Reflexology“.

We finished the month off by introducing Dr. Scott Olson’s new book “Sugarettes – Sugar Addiction and Your Health” through a book review.

In our reviews section we added two new food products: “Arthur’s Acai Plus Natural Smoothie” and “LaraBar Natural Fruit and Nut bars“.

This month, as always, a few new recipes joined our site, including the very healthy and delicious “Leek and Lentil Soup“.

As for what’s in store next month? With the holiday season upon us, Evolving Wellness will try to focus on how to stay healthy during the holiday season, when most of us experience a higher than normal quantity of food, drink and stress. I will also do an article on healthy gift ideas.

Till then – Live Long! Live Healthy! Live Happy!
