Goodies Needed
- Frozen Waffles (for a healthier choice fresh, home made waffles)
- Fresh fruit (preferably organic) strawberries, blueberries, etc.
- Yogurt (any flavor – nice though if you match the flavor to the fruit you are using)
* Quantities depend on number of people you are serving and portion sizes
Preparation Steps
- Make your own waffles (see video how to make waffles now) or for a quick preparation toast frozen waffles
- Cut the fruit into small pieces (if needed, ex. If using blueberries no need to cut)
- Note: don’t use frozen fruit as it tends to make the waffles too soggy!
- Place a generous amount of fruit on the waffles
- Pour the yogurt on top of the fruit covered waffles
- Surprise your kids or significant other with this simple yet very impressive looking, yummy breakfast in bed!
