Hi David

Yeah, it was shocking for me to see it too. I always thought ALL food biodegrades and decomposes the same way - well I guess not....

As for the fish sandwiches, this may not be what you want to hear, but David none of that food in my opinion is fit for our bodies. These companies do not use high end food products. Where do you think the fish are coming from? These are the cheapest fish used and perhaps various parts of them ground up. Today's good fish are contaminated with mercury and other chemicals, I can only imagine what a fish product that is sold by McDonalds is like.

I am truly sorry, and in no way do I want to take away from you enjoying those meals, but I care about every single person's health out there (if of course they care about it themselves) and cannot tell you otherwise. If you love them, how about buying some fish and trying to make a similar sandwich at home? Or finding a restaurant that is a little more conscious of the type of food they serve and how they prepare it? There are options, and I don't want you to walk away from this, thinking that eating healthier means you have to deny yourself or deprive yourself, it is just about finding other, healthier and more suitable options.

The buns in McDonald's are white and preserved to the nines. The meat/fish products are fried in low quality oils and contribute to poor heart health, among many other things.
And the only reason anything there tastes perhaps "semi-good" is due to how many chemical falvor enhancers they use, not to mention the condiments and salt amounts.

So in the end, I know that this video and how this food sits around in our intestines is not good when it comes to our health, but when it comes to the typical fast food out there today, there are so many others and even bigger problems with it that I truly cannot say one positive thing about it.

In the end, the decision is yours and how much you love and respect yourself in terms of what you put into your body.

P.S. If you have not seen it, I recommend trying to watch "Fast Food Nation" - it is available in your local movie rental store.

This is really an amazing video. I don't think I will ever buy another hamburger at McD's. Do you think they do the same thing to their fish sandwiches? I really love those.

This reminds me of those teaching sessions they do with the fake foods. Plastic food to teach us how to plan meals. Who would imagine that we are actually eating it?

my husband is disgusting too! After watching the video on diets.com he went out and bought himself a big mac...some people get and some don't! It reminds me of the movie Thank You for Smoking, all the advertising and bands against smoking and yet we see nothing against poisoning ourselves with processed crap that is illegal in many other countries.
