Hi Hanlie

Our bodies really are amazing at picking up our emotional states and they really never lie. When we feel "off" for some reason it always has a good reason for being so and instead of ignoring it, we need to address root causes before problems escalate.

Thank you for your comment :)

Great post! We should have a happy disposition so everything we may encounter will be pleasant. If trials come along we can conquer them. We should always remember a happy and healthy heart will result to feeling contentment and being at the top.

I have recently come to appreciate how draining it is to be unhappy. No wonder our bodies can't cope with that in the long term. Our emotional well-being is such an important aspect of our overall health, and one that is sadly ignored by medical "science". Another great, thoughtful post!

Hi Karl

Thank you for your comment and the valuable insights.

You are right, that is an astounding number! And yes isn't that amazing about the happier a person is, the less sick they are. I have heard that from numerous people now and know it from my own personal experience. It is really an amazing thing that health is so much in our hands and yet so many of us choose to neglect that fact.

I enjoy your contribution and help for people who are looking for tips and help on how to achieve work happiness and so it is a pleasure to recommend you!

Happiness is so vital to keeping our stress at bay. 70% of hospital visits are due to stress. That's an astounding number.

We need to take care of ourselves emotionally so we can maximize our health. I noticed that since I've been working on my happiness I've been less prone to sickness. It's funny the happier I get the healthier I eat. I've stopped stress eating. When I do want comfort food I choose organic yogurt, fruits, and other healthy options.

Thanks for the link. People under estimate how important it is to enjoy what they do. It helps reduce stress and increase productivity.

Hi Bernie

Yes, indeed. The root cause of anything whether in health or other areas is what we should always strive to look for. This is the sure way to really address the real "issue" and not just mask any visible symptoms or by-products of a situation.

And you also touched on 2 other great points: connection and meaning. People today for the most part are simply disconnected - from God, from nature, from life, from each other and even from themselves. And with that disconnection there is little meaning in stuff. We try to fill the voids with material stuff and food or drugs and alcohol, but it cannot be filled. And so we have the health and happiness statistics that we have.

We need to reconnect and find the balance and meaning in all that is. That is truly I believe the solution to so much more than just heart health.
Thank you for your enlightening comment!

Hi Jacqueline

That is fantastic that you came to that conclusion and I truly believe that it is true. This is why when I counsel people on healthy eating I always mention, that your thoughts will play a HUGE part in your health. There is little benefit in eating the healthiest stuff and being an unhappy, angry or depressed person.

It is just so wonderful to hear your great energy and that you shared it here. In the end, really the greatest impact on our health is what we hold in our minds about life, living and ourselves.

So all the best in continued health and happiness to you!

Great post!

A long time ago I made the correlation between me being the Happiest Person I Know, and also one of the healthiest people I know. Don't get me wrong, I love chocolate, alcohol, and takeaway food, but I also love life, and I know for me to enjoy life to the fullest, I need to feel fit and healthy.

I have also experienced heart pain, and know it is my choice to eradicate anything causing this from my life, or otherwise fix it, pronto!
Even though my life is far less than perfect (in many people's opinions) I am grateful for so much, and truly do love my life.

Guess my heart is real healthy then, huh?

Live Life Happy!

We can ask, what is at the Heart of any Issue? ~ which points to whether or not we feel in connection to something. If someone thinks their heart is broken, its because they no longer feel connected or bonded to a person. They then feel empty. So one clue here is to feel a sense of connection to what ever actions we may be performing on a daily basis. This heart connection will then provide meaning and an uplifting sense of energy that will allow one's body and essence to flow fluently on many measurable and immeasurable levels. Therefore, looking at everything as being meaningful provides a chance to understand other points of view that will provide a heartfelt life of growth, health, and a loving attitude in relationship to one's body and to All things in one's immediate environment.

Everything is connected, and if we can't feel that, our Heart truly aches.
