Evita Ochel B.Sc., B.Ed., CHN, RNC, CNHP
Evita is the author and editor of Evolving Wellness. She holds an Honors Bachelor of Science degree in the areas of Biology and Psychology, a Bachelor degree in Education, is a Certified Holistic Nutritionist, a Registered Nutritional Counsellor and a Certified Natural Health Practitioner.
She has been a secondary school science educator for 7 years and is currently a writer, speaker and researcher in the areas of holistic health and wellness, to help others achieve and maintain optimal health. She also specializes in the anatomy, physiology and biochemistry of the human body, environmental studies and topics that deal with spirituality, self-growth and empowerment to inspire each individual to live out the highest version of who they are.
She believes in and lives by healthy and balanced living in all areas of one’s life, as she knows of the strong connection between emotional, spiritual and physical health, for optimal well-being. Her interests and research focus on optimal health and longevity through natural, wholesome, balanced and organic nutrition.
She is a strong proponent of the plant-based lifestyle, which is grounded in the solid scientific research available in terms of its health benefits and spiritual balance one can attain from it. She teaches about natural living in all areas of one’s life to achieve optimal health, including the reduction and elimination of toxins from our environment and bodies through things such as natural personal care and home products. She also teaches based on the paradigm, that once a disease or symptoms develop, it is long after the initial cause of the symptoms occurred. Hence, it is important to be aware of the mind, body and spirit alignment in one’s life at all times for balanced, optimal health.

In the future, Evita hopes to write and publish books that deal with her area of expertise, as well as continue to educate more people on a larger scale, about the direct links of their diet and thoughts, to their state of health and well being.
